Great Music, Nice Venue, Some Amenities Need Improvement
The music from all 3 bands was great and the people working the event are really nice. Two downsides: the food they serve is "why bother?". There are no healthy options like a salad. Not even a burger! Luckily the ice cream is good. Our show started at 5 and it's around dinner time so you'd think there would be decent offerings. Good thing I had lunch. With all the restaurants in this complex it's hard to understand this situation. The bar also needs improvement. The only water you can get is Life Wtr for $6. I want plain water. Glad they let you bring an empty bottle as there are water fountains on the 4th floor. No coffee or tea, hot or iced. Big mistake. Alcoholic drinks are expensive. I can buy a 12 pack for what they charge for one. On the plus side the bathrooms are clean and plentiful. Venue should pipe the music down there as other venues do. I felt bad for the people at the merch booths as they must have been bored out of their gourds.
